These are some of the regular activities you can be involved in at St John’s Church.
Fellowship Group
We meet every Monday morning from 10:45 am until 12:30 pm at St John’s. It’s not important to come to every meeting so you can come when you want.
Cup and Natter
Every Wednesday morning at St John’s from 10:30 am. Come and have a relaxing morning with a drink and chat – great for getting to know people. From October until March it is also an official “Winter Warmer” location with soup lunch available.
Food for Thought
Come for an early evening meal (6pm) followed by a presentation which we hope will make you think, or perhaps laugh or even stir memories. This event takes place often on a Thursday evening several times per year.
Art Club
Open to people of all standards and capabilities. This is a club for anyone interested in drawing and painting. Guidance and Help with materials and techniques available.
Theatre Outings
Going to the local theatres, whether professional such as the Bolton Octagon, or amateur such as Bolton Little Theatre is a great way to relax and enjoy leisure time together with fellow church members.
Other Activities
The church is used by many community groups. They provide a wide range of meetings covering subjects such as Keep Fit, Pilates, Languages, Photography, Singing etc. You can view a calendar of events showing the activities available each day.
