It was agreed at our ACM on Sunday 10th May that we identify an evening when all who are part of our church family could meet and begin to build a strategy which responds to and will meet the challenge of both the possibility of new houses in Horwich and the future shape and mission of our church. I would encourage this to be an open meeting for all interested in the life of St John’s and would suggest that from this meeting we aim to bring action points and perhaps names of people to the next church council meeting.
This meeting will be held in church at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 4th and it is hoped that as many people as possible will be able to attend.
