With concerns for the increasing number of families in Horwich facing greater impoverishment we are beginning the further development of our local Churches Together Storehouse project by attempting to increase the amount of food collected so that we can feed more families.
We would like to approach both Aldi and Iceland to ask them to consider having a Grub Tub on their premises, but before we do that we need to make sure that we have sufficient volunteers to collect the goods received and take them to the Storehouse warehouse in Bolton.
Grateful thanks to those who have already volunteered, but we do need more help. Please do consider volunteering once a week or a fortnight to help with this task if you can, and then let either Brenda Griffiths or Shirley Sharples  know which days and times are best for you so we can compile a rota.
