Here at St John’s, we have scheduled in another Soup Lunch. Please add your name to the list on the notice board if you can make Sunday 8 May straight after the Annual Church Meeting. There will be a choice of homemade soups, a roll, coffee or tea and desserts for £5 (£3 for under 14’s). Donations of desserts on the day? If you can help, please tell Hilary.
Again, I am asking for volunteers to help in the door to door house collections. If you can help, please let me know. The collecting envelopes and collector ID badges will be in the corridor nearer the time to be picked up ready for 15 May.
As yet, we have no dates for store collections in Horwich, but hopefully we will have authorisation and volunteers will be required for that. Again, that will be a combined effort with other Churches in the Horwich area.
